HERE’S TO THE CRAZY ONES
To me, the word Visionary is not a word to be taken lightly. To call a person a visionary carries much more weight than most words used to describe a person. A visionary is someone who can see what the future could be then does something about it. They believe in human potential when the rest of the world does not.
The world lost Steve Jobs this past week. He was a true visionary, changing forever how we communicate, how we see the world and changing forever the future of education, which will change generations to come. In one of my notebooks I have a quote from Mr. Jobs that I read quite often. It applies to me. It applies to many of my clients and friends.
You see when you strive to be as successful as you can possibly be; when you set goals for the future; when you label yourself an entrepreneur, sometimes that path can be lonely. Sometimes the world sees you as “crazy”, a “little out there”, and labels you as a dreamer.
If it applies to you, take heart. Here are some words from a guy who lived it and figured it out. And in the end, I think you can say he did pretty well.
“Here’s to the crazy ones, the misfits, the rebels, the troublemakers, the round pegs in the square holes…the ones who see things differently-they’re not fond of rules….You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them but the only thing you can’t do is ignore them because they change things…they push the human race forward, and while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius, because the ones who are crazy enough to think that they can change the world, are the ones who do.” Steve Jobs
Thank you Sir!
