Preparation beats talent in this discipline, and it is not close. Before anyone works on delivery with me, we settle four things: who is in the room, what they need from you, what single idea you want them carrying out the door, and what you want them to do next. Speakers skipping this step end up performing instead of communicating.

I also insist on practice with feedback, not practice alone. Rehearsing a weak opening forty times produces a very well rehearsed weak opening. My programs are customized, because a founder pitching investors and a manager running a monthly all-hands are solving different problems with the same skill.

Crafting a Successful Public Speaking Program

We start with the people in the seats. What they already believe, what they are skeptical about, and what would make the talk worth their time. Purpose follows: inform, persuade, or move them to a decision. A talk trying to do all three usually accomplishes none.

Message Architecture

Your content gets built around one governing idea supported by a small number of points. I push speakers toward fewer ideas held longer, because audiences remember shape before detail. We write the opening and closing word for word and leave the middle flexible.

Voice and Delivery

Delivery work covers pace, pause, volume, and the physical habits undermining your credibility without your knowledge. My aim is a conversational version of you, not a performance. Audiences trust speakers who sound like people.

Storytelling and Evidence

Stories carry the emotional weight and evidence carries the argument. We build a small library of your own stories, refined until each one lands in under ninety seconds, and pair them with the proof your audience needs before agreeing with you.

Questions, interruptions, hostile framing, technology failures, and the moment your timing gets cut in half. We rehearse these deliberately so your first encounter with them is not in front of a client.

Skills fade without reps. We build a practice schedule into your working month and set a standard for reviewing your own recordings, so improvement continues after our engagement ends.
